Think of this as the "single source of truth" for all product and supplier information. When this data is wrong, everything downstream breaks — purchase orders fail to process, shipments get rejected at the warehouse, accounting reports don't match.
This quarter, we started validating every partner's data at the gate using the same set of rules, so errors are caught before they reach any other system. We also connected 13 PLM masters and 5 mapping tables from PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), so information is richer and more complete at the source.
Validation runs at every ingestion point; downstream systems only receive data that has passed the gate.
Buyers and product managers no longer face random Procuro ingestion failures caused by bad product data. Suppliers no longer see IntelliPack rejections caused by missing size information. Specialist buyers (ODM) now have proper access controls, can work across brands with the right permissions. Format teams only see suppliers relevant to their division — no more confusion from seeing another division's supplier list.
